This Travel Disclaimer Policy explains important conditions that may affect travel arrangements, schedules, and services. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. General Disclaimer
All travel services offered by Travel Proficient are subject to availability and external approvals. While we strive to ensure smooth travel arrangements, certain factors are beyond our control, including airline operations, hotel availability, visa approvals, and government regulations.
We act as an intermediary between the customer and third-party service providers and are not directly responsible for operational decisions made by these entities.
2. Airline Schedule and Flight Changes
Flight schedules, timings, and routes are controlled by airlines and may change at any time without prior notice. Delays, cancellations, or rescheduling of flights are the responsibility of the respective airline.
Travel Proficient will assist customers in rebooking or adjusting travel plans where possible, but we are not liable for losses caused by airline disruptions.
3. Visa Approval Disclaimer
Visa approval for Umrah and Hajj is entirely under the jurisdiction of Saudi immigration authorities. While we assist in the application process, approval or rejection is beyond our control.
Visa delays or rejections may affect travel plans, and any related costs are subject to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
4. Hotel and Accommodation Changes
Hotel bookings are made based on availability at the time of reservation. In case of overbooking, operational changes, or seasonal demand, alternative accommodations of similar or higher category may be provided.
Distance from Haram, room type, and hotel selection may vary during peak seasons such as Ramadan and Hajj due to high demand.
5. Hajj and Umrah Regulatory Changes
Saudi authorities may introduce new regulations, restrictions, or changes to Hajj and Umrah policies at any time. These may include quota limitations, travel restrictions, health requirements, or operational adjustments.
Travel Proficient is not responsible for any impact caused by such regulatory changes but will assist customers in adapting to new requirements.
6. Force Majeure Events
We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or service disruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control. These include, but are not limited to:
Natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, government restrictions, airline strikes, airport closures, or technical failures.
In such cases, we may offer alternative arrangements or travel rescheduling depending on availability and third-party cooperation.
7. Transportation and Ground Services
Local transportation services in Saudi Arabia, including buses and transfers between Makkah, Madinah, Mina, and other locations, are managed by third-party providers. Delays or service changes may occur due to traffic, crowd control, or operational requirements.
We are not responsible for delays or changes in ground transportation schedules.
8. Travel Timelines and Itinerary Changes
All travel itineraries are tentative and subject to change. Final schedules may be adjusted due to airline operations, hotel readiness, or Saudi Hajj and Umrah authority instructions.
Customers are advised to remain flexible and prepared for possible adjustments during travel.
9. Health and Safety Advisory
Traveling for Umrah and Hajj involves physical activity, long walking distances, and crowded environments. Customers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for travel.
We strongly recommend consulting a healthcare professional before travel, especially for elderly pilgrims or individuals with existing medical conditions.
10. Limitation of Responsibility
Travel Proficient is not responsible for any loss, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by third-party service providers including airlines, hotels, transportation companies, or government authorities.
Our responsibility is limited to the coordination of services as per confirmed bookings.
11. Customer Acknowledgment
By booking with Travel Proficient, you acknowledge that you understand and accept all risks associated with international travel, including changes in schedules, regulatory updates, and external disruptions.
